The Manhattan Bridge is a steel suspension bridge that spans the East River in New York City between downtown Brooklyn and Chinatown, Manhattan. While not nearly as famous as its downstream neighbor the Brooklyn Bridge, this bridge is just as spectacular in appearance and has been in service since 1909.
