In December 1982, a man was found dead inside Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Boise, Idaho, with $1,900 in cash and a note signed with a fake name. For 43 years, no one knew who he was. Now DNA has finally identified the "Unknown Wanderer" as Dr. Mathew Francis Betkouski, an organic chemist, and some believe he could be connected to the 1982 Chicago Tylenol murders. Investigators say they cannot place Betkouski in Chicago when the poisonings happened, and he has not been officially named a suspect. The FBI says 44 years of similar claims have remained unsubstantiated. In this video, we break down how the case was solved, who Betkouski was, and what the evidence does and doesn't show. 📚 SOURCES Ada County Sheriff's Office: https://adacounty.id.gov/sheriff/acso...
