Best Laps at Sonoma September 2026

These are the three best laps from the SCCA race weekend at Sonoma on September 5-6, 2026. In Saturday Qualifying, I did a 1:40.3 lap, which is 0.5 seconds faster than my previous best. In the race on Saturday, I had the left rear camber shim bolt come loose, so didn't finish. On Sunday, I turned a 1:40.2 lap, lowering my personal best, but still not breaking the 1:40 threshold. In the race on Sunday, I was doing a string of 1:40 laps, and turned a 1:39.5 lap towards the end, 0.7 seconds faster than in qual. I'm still not doing T2 and T7 properly, or at least to my liking, but I'll take the 1:39.5.
