25 Miles and 100 Years Away: Off-Roading to a Historic Abandoned Cabin Just Outside Las Vegas

Welcome to Wonderhussy Adventure #762 Date of adventure: 11/28/23 Join my expedition into the mountains outside Las Vegas to check out an old prospector's cabin. Even though the trip is only 25 miles as the crow flies...it feels like we're going back in time 100 years, to when the southern Nevada desert was a very different place!  *Note: that "old" bottle in there really WAS old! Buffalo Lithia Water was bottled in Virginia, sold all over the U.S., and was purported to have many health benefits... until a lawsuit forced them to change their name in 1917 ,because there wasn't technically enough lithium in the water to justify the name. So this bottle must have dated from before 1917!
