What is Blossom East Africa? Across the Lake Victoria bioregion of Kenya and Uganda, living systems are deeply interconnected with the communities who steward them. How do we support these ecosystems to heal in times of climate chaos, while honouring culturally significant practices and local wisdom? This question sits at the heart of Blossom, Regenerosity’s two-year capacity strengthening program. Moving away from one-size-fits-all solutions, we co-design inclusive programs with grassroots partner organisations. Through peer-to-peer learning, local leaders are showing what a regenerating economy looks like in practice, where ecological restoration and resilient livelihoods go hand in hand. Guided by permaculture principles, communities share traditional ecological knowledge, grow their ecological literacy and build systems of community ownership that will thrive long after philanthropy ends.
