Building a CRT Arcade Cabinet from Scratch – Part 1: The Build Begins

In Part 1 of my CRT arcade cabinet build, I’m starting from scratch and building a full-size retro arcade machine in my garage. I wanted the real old-school arcade experience, so instead of using a modern LCD, this cabinet is being built around an actual CRT television. I’m cutting and shaping the cabinet myself, figuring things out as I go, and eventually turning it into a classic Donkey Kong-inspired arcade cabinet with blue paint, white T-molding, arcade controls, a marquee, and retro games running on original-style CRT video.
