The Charming Heart of Lunar

The Lunar Series is one of the greatest RPG series that too many people don't know about. Now, the two main games are available through the Lunar Remastered Collection. With that being out now, I decided it was time to put together my two retrospectives to make one massive video covering both titles. Game Arts, Studio Alex, Working Designs and now GungHo have done some incredible work to bring these two games to generations of gamers. So here's my love letter to the series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed playing through the games and making this video. Lunar The Silver Star was first released on Sega CD and was a true hidden gem. something special on an add on that underperformed. Then it was re released on Sega Saturn in Japan as well as the Sony PlayStation as Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. This game has never received the love many feel that it deserves. Localized by Working Designs and created by Studio Alex and Game Arts, this game is one of the most underrated JRPGs ever. #LunarRetrospective #SilverStarStory #videogame The Sequel to the Silver Star Story, Eternal Blue is an incredible adventure as Lucia comes to Lunar from the blue star to join with the goddess Althena to stop the evil Zophar from destroying both worlds. Along the way she runs into a young adventurer named Hiro who changes her entire outlook on life and humanity. The cast is as incredible as it's predecessor, with Hiro leading a band of adventurers over the silver star to help escort Lucia to the holy city Pentagulia....The plot spirals into so much more...going deeper than Lucia had ever imagined. The Lunar series are incredibly underrated and don't receive the attention they deserve, so in this video, I'm shining a light on Eternal Blue. This will be covered on the 2025 Lunar Remastered version of the game. Thanks for joining me on this epic adventure. #LunarRetrospective #EternalBlue #Videogame #EternalBlueRemaster Transcript
