NF – “The Person I Prayed to Become” (2026 Lyrics Video)

NF – “The Person I Prayed to Become” (2026 Lyrics Video) “The Person I Prayed to Become” is a deeply introspective rap about looking back at the person you used to be, remembering the prayers you whispered during your darkest moments, and realizing you've slowly become the person you once hoped you'd be. This NF-inspired track speaks for anyone who struggled through self-doubt, failure, and painful seasons while secretly praying for a better version of themselves. I prayed to become someone stronger... Now I'm standing where my younger self only dreamed I'd be. This song captures the journey of fighting through insecurity, regret, loneliness, overthinking, sleepless nights, and the fear of never becoming enough. It's about realizing that growth doesn't always feel like progress while you're living through it, but one day you look back and recognize the person you fought so hard to become. I spent years asking God for change... Then forgot to notice He was changing me. Through self-doubt, failure, emotional exhaustion, faith, healing, perseverance, and hope, this track reminds listeners that becoming stronger doesn't mean becoming perfect. It means surviving enough difficult chapters to finally recognize your own growth. The person I begged God to create... Was being built inside every battle I thought would destroy me. I don't have the life I imagined... But I'm becoming the person I once prayed I'd be. 🙏 Faith • Growth • Healing 💔 Struggle • Self-Doubt • Redemption 🔥 Deep introspective rap with emotional storytelling If you've ever looked back and realized you're slowly becoming the person you once prayed you could be... this song is for you.
