The station is directly connected to  Delhi,  Mumbai,  Chennai,  Surat,  Agra,  Bhopal,  Jammu,  Asansol , Patna junction, Lucknow,  Amritsar,  Jabalpur,  Guwahati,  Kolkata, New Jalpaiguri, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Pathankot,  and other major & important cities by routine trains and the Ghazipur Railway Station Will Be strategically more important. Currently it has Double line railway route with electrification of Prayagraj Jn-Varanasi Jn-Ghazipur City-Chhapra Jn Rail Route. And a New Rail line From Mau Junction to Tarighat Station Via : Ghazipur City Station and Bridge on Ganga River.
