Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Apex Committee Meeting | Major Decisions to End Terrorism and Restore Peace

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Peshawar Corps Commander, and senior civil and military officials attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the province’s security situation and discussed decisive measures to eliminate terrorism and establish lasting peace. Participants paid tribute to the martyrs of the war against terrorism and agreed to continue intelligence-based operations. The meeting also decided to provide modern equipment, vehicles, weapons, and the required personnel to the police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD). Special attention will be given to public welfare, education, healthcare, basic facilities, and socioeconomic development, particularly in underdeveloped and conflict-affected areas. Officials emphasized coordinated efforts to improve public services, address longstanding issues, and raise the standard of living across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
