Canada Just Built a Diesel Killer — And It's Already Going Global For 70 years, every heavy freight train on the continent ran on one thing: diesel. Then engineers in a Calgary rail shop pulled the diesel engine out of an old locomotive, gave it a new power plant, and sent it up the Rocky Mountains with a loaded coal train behind it. The only thing coming out of the exhaust was water. In this video, we follow the story from a forgotten secret hidden inside every diesel locomotive since the 1940s, to a small fuel cell company started near Vancouver in 1979, to the Alberta stations making hydrogen beside the tracks, and finally to the railways around the world now asking Canada for the plans. 📘 Our ebook: If you've ever wondered how close the things you own are to being replaced, and who gets to decide, our ebook answers that. 👉 https://srb-book-2.onrender.com/ You'll see: 🚂 Why diesel locked up the rails for 70 years ❄️ The minus 45 cold test, and why Canadian winters matter 🔧 How Canada turns an old diesel into a hydrogen locomotive 🌍 How a Canadian idea crossed borders, from West Virginia to Western Australia ⚖️ The three problems critics point to, and how each one holds up 💬 Your turn: Which country should be next in line for the Canadian kit?
