A Long Day… But I Enjoyed Every Minute | Sports Parent Life

Some Saturdays are about the wins. Some are about the lessons. And sometimes, you just have to enjoy the journey. 🏈 Welcome to Week 8 of SPC | Day in the Life. This week took us on the road about 30 minutes from home for another long football Saturday. Both teams came up short, the day had its ups and downs, and by the end of it I was definitely drained. But looking back, I enjoyed every minute of it. Because one thing this sports-parent journey continues to teach me is that everything can't be about wins and losses. Sometimes it's about the drive. The conversations. Being at the field. Watching your kids compete. Supporting them through the highs and lows. And appreciating that you get to experience these Saturdays with them.
