Eric Kane - water my soul (Official Music Video)

#erickane #watermysoul #indiefolk 'water my soul' an acoustic indie-folk summer song paying tribute to the passions, to the people, to the moments that slow us down; that instill life giving gratitude. I've spent the last 10 years pursuing music after the loss of my brother due to addiction, & to be honest, a failed healthcare system. After navigating his death, grief and my own addictions & vicious cycles myself, i started writing, performing, sharing my heart and all my trials & tribulations through my passion for music. 10 years later i finally felt a break through, a moment where my message was being heard, was being reciprocated. People were listening, people were buying tickets, and i sold out my first show outside of my home town. that moment on the road, gave me the most overwhelmingly fulfilling feelings of gratitude. Every hardship, lessons, smile, self doubting moment. the highs and the lows leading up to this moment that 'watered my soul'.... i captivated that feeling and wrote this song, WATER MY SOUL was born. With the marketing and music video, i wanted to bring some humor into the mix to share the message in a light hearted manner. The summer of short form reels, fighting off the heckler (Wiesinger Music) all coming to the final episode. The great escape and chase from his heckling grasp. haha Song written by Eric Kane Produced by Ryan Stewart Directed by Eric Kane & Justin Wiesinger Filmed by STRENNETH Lyrics Verse 1 take me down to the river like the water we'll flow to where the grass is greener take me down to where we're safe and sound & the world around it can't deceive us PRE- CHORUS i followed my heart and led me to you the weight of the world left me black and blue you helped me heal and my spirits bloomed CHORUS 1 so water my soul take me down the trail through the high & the lows take me all the way up to the summit of gold where the light of your love shines as bright as the sun so water my soul woah oh oh oh woah oh oh oh so water my VERSE 2 lead me into the fire with the warmth of your flames were rising higher to a place where time stands still and I know you will be right beside me PRE-CHORUS i followed my heart and led me to you the weight of the world left me black and blue you helped me heal and my spirits bloomed CHORUS 2 so water my soul take me down the trail through the high & the lows take me all the way up to the summit of gold where the light of your love shines as bright as the sun all that know is that the stars are shining and your smile it glows like the moon rising to the summit of gold where the light of your love shines bright as the sun so water my soul woah oh oh oh so water my soul woah oh oh oh BRIDGE take to the river take me down the stream take to the deepest place you've ever been take with always even in your dreams like the moon illuminating down upon me CHORUS 3 so water my soul take me down the trail through the high & the lows take me all the way up to the summit of gold where the light of your love shines bright as the sun all that know is that the stars are shining and your smile it glows like the moon rising to the summit of gold where the light of your love shines bright as the sun so water my soul woah oh oh oh so water my soul woah oh oh oh
