The Right String But the Wrong Yo Yo/Bring It on Home to Me--Herbert Hunter, 1962

Two superior Herbert Hunter budget knockoffs for Hit Records--covers of Piano Red's "The Right String But the Wrong Yo Yo" and Sam Cooke's "Bring It on Home to Me," both 1962. Hit Records' soul and R&B knockoffs were typically more successful than their surf and British Invasion covers, and Hunter is one of the famous names from the label.
