SQE1 prep with a full-time job: Week 2, plus my first interpreting gig

Week 2 of preparing for the SQE1 (Solicitors Qualifying Examination) while working full-time as a data privacy consultant in Tokyo. Every day I set two or three goals and report back in the evening. This week I finally submitted my QWE (Qualifying Work Experience), compared privacy notices across jurisdictions, and tried to read Peruvian regulations in Spanish. On Friday I took a day off to work as a simultaneous interpreter at a friend’s event, for the first time ever, and on my own. SQE1 practice this week: 80 questions, 47 correct (59%) Running total: 130 questions, 68 correct (52%) #SQE1 #SQE #StudyVlog
