となみ夜高祭り 2026 砺波夜高祭りは、富山県砺波市で毎年6月第2金曜日・土曜日の2日間にわたり開催される、豊年満作・五穀豊穣を願う伝統の祭りです。 初日は、美しさを競う「夜高行燈コンクール」が行われます。伝統的な題材から時代の流行を取り入れたものまで、個性豊かな夜高行燈が一堂に集結。これらの行燈はすべて地元住民の手によって制作されています。 2日目は「突き合わせ」と呼ばれる勇壮な行事が行われます。夜高行燈同士が全速力で激しくぶつかり合い、土台や豪華な飾りが次々と壊れていく迫力満点の光景から、「喧嘩祭り」としても知られています。 祭りの最後には、「シャンシャン」と呼ばれる手打ち式が行われ、2日間にわたる熱気あふれる祭りが幕を閉じます。 夜高コンクール 昭和42年（1967年）から開催されている伝統あるコンクールです。審査のために交差点へ進み出る大行燈の姿は圧巻。かわいらしい子どもたちの小行燈も登場し、2日目の激しい突き合わせとは異なる、華やかで美しい砺波夜高の魅力を楽しむことができます。 Tonami Yotaka Festival 2026 | Grand Lantern Competition The Tonami Yotaka Festival is held annually in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture, on the second Friday and Saturday of June. The festival celebrates a bountiful harvest and agricultural prosperity. On the first day, the Yotaka Lantern Competition showcases magnificent lanterns featuring both traditional themes and modern creative designs. Every lantern is handcrafted by local residents, reflecting the community's pride and craftsmanship. The second day is famous for the “Tsukiawase,” a dramatic lantern battle in which giant lanterns charge into one another at full speed. This spectacular event has earned the festival the nickname “The Fighting Festival.” After the battles conclude, participants gather for a traditional hand-clapping ceremony known as “Shanshan,” marking the end of the festival. Yotaka Lantern Competition Established in 1967, this competition honors the beauty and artistry of the Yotaka lanterns. Watching these giant lanterns enter the intersection for judging is a breathtaking sight.
