Tarman: Polymer Clay Sculpture

I recently was commissioned to make Tarman. Admittedly I am not a huge horror fan because I am a scaredy-cat and my imagination doesn't need more help to dream up scary monsters. So I had to do a bit of research and luckily the client trusted that I could do it in my own style. The Return of the Living Dead is a 1985 American comedy horror film written and directed by Dan O'Bannon, and starring Clu Gulager, James Karen, Thom Matthews and Don Calfa. The character Tarman first appeared in The Return of the Living Dead, in a petrified state inside of a trioxin canister. Tarman climbed out of the canister and went looking for fresh brains. The Tarman is portrayed by actor Allan Trautman, while Robert J. Bennett plays as the headless version.
