Jason and I headed over the river into Illinois to check out some car washes. I've found that the coolest systems can often be found in neighborhoods that are a bit off the beaten path, which is why we started searching the communities surrounding East St Louis. We struck gold in Cahokia. This wash looked so run down from the street, I figured there was almost no chance the automatic bay would be operational. But the payment system was turned on when we pulled up. I had Jason try running my card and after a long wait, to our surprise, it fired up.
