Switzerland has been one of those places for me for as long as I can remember. For more than a decade, I dreamed of seeing the Swiss Alps. As a young girl, I hoped that one day I would actually make it here, without knowing if that dream would ever become a reality. So being in Switzerland, and especially in the Jungfrau Region, felt like so much more than a trip. It felt like stepping into a dream I had carried with me. It was even more beautiful than I imagined. In this peaceful film, we wander through the heart of the Swiss Alps, taking in the quiet beauty of the Bernese Oberland, where dramatic mountain peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls, and charming car-free villages come together beneath the iconic Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. It honestly felt like stepping into Middle-earth. There were moments when I could hardly believe that places this beautiful actually exist on Earth. In this journey we visit: • Mürren: a peaceful cliffside village with sweeping views of the Alps and access to the Schilthorn summit and James Bond Museum • Wengen: a traditional, car-free alpine village perched on a sunny terrace above the Lauterbrunnen Valley • Lauterbrunnen: the breathtaking valley of 72 waterfalls, surrounded by towering rock faces and home to the famous Staubbach Falls. • Grindelwald: a spectacular mountain village beneath the Eiger, home to the famous First Cliff Walk • Jungfraujoch: the “Top of Europe” at 3,454 meters, home to Europe’s highest railway station and incredible views of the Aletsch Glacier. Switzerland is a privilege to experience. This journey meant more to me than I can really put into words, and I’m so grateful that I get to share a small piece of it with you. If you’ve ever dreamed of visiting Switzerland, I hope this film makes you feel as though you’re here with me.
