El Chapo

El Chapo – Down the Tunnel | Nursery Rhymes of Infamy Behind the cheerful melody of an old-fashioned nursery rhyme is the documented story of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, one of the most notorious figures in the history of organised crime. From Sinaloa and the rise of the Sinaloa Cartel, to enormous international drug-trafficking operations, bribery, kidnapping and cartel violence, this song follows the historical record rather than the legend. It tells the story of Guzmán's captures and escapes — including his notorious 2015 escape from Altiplano prison through a tunnel approximately 1.5 kilometres long, complete with a motorcycle — before his eventual recapture, extradition to the United States and 2019 conviction. The song also reflects documented evidence presented at his federal trial concerning murder conspiracies and violence used against rivals and informants. 🎵 Nursery Rhymes of Infamy takes real historical figures and tells their documented stories through deceptively cheerful, memorable nursery-folk songs. The music is warm and innocent. The history isn't. This song is educational entertainment and does not glorify or endorse organised crime, drug trafficking or violence. Historical sources The song was researched using documented material including U.S. Department of Justice records, federal court material and Mexican government records. #ElChapo #JoaquinGuzman #SinaloaCartel #NurseryRhymesOfInfamy #TrueCrime #TrueCrimeMusic #OrganizedCrime #MexicanCartels #DrugTrafficking #History #CrimeHistory #ElChapoGuzman #HistoricalMusic #StorytellingMusic #NurseryRhyme
