Director and Star of COMPLIANCE Talk the Screenlife Horror Thriller

Compliance, the feature debut from director / writer / editor Kyle Mangione-Smith, is a found footage nightmare which deals squarely with the surveillance state in which we currently live. Brilliantly turning conspiracy theories on their heads and inverting the usual "shadowy cabal" trope, Mangione-Smith's film will have you agape at what unfolds onscreen. The story of Sam Cornell (Megan Wilcox), a young crisis manager for tech start up UVisit, who has been tasked with cleaning up the fallout from a sexual assault scandal that threatens to undo a multi-million dollar deal, sees our protagonist unwittingly becomes a pawn in a deadly game set by a shadowy, all-powerful organization with vast resources. Also starring Lindsey Normington of Anora and Margo's Got Money Troubles and actor Charlie Wood, Compliance had its North American debut this past week as part of Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, and we hopped on Zoom with director Kyle Mangione-Smith and co-star Lindsey Normington.
