The Woods in Alaska Ain’t It Anymore | The Pale Mimic

The Pale Mimic had me tense pretty much from the jump. I’ve got a husky of my own, so once the dog became part of the situation, that was basically my whole mission for the rest of the game. Keep the husky alive and deal with whatever the freak was out there. The setting does a lot of the heavy lifting too. Snow, isolation, long stretches where each time feels unsettling, and this creature creepin'. I kept the commentary a little more restrained on this one and let the atmosphere carry it.
