Lockwood Air Cup Potato Planters & John Deere 9RX Tillage Tractor | Robison Farms- Roberts, ID

High quality Idaho potatoes start with precise and consistent planting. Watch as the Robison family starts the season off planting with 3 Lockwood Air cup planters. These machines use a high speed fan that creates suction on the cups as seed potatoes are picked up and then placed in the furrow. This method provides a very accurate and consistent stand which is essential for a quality crop. Ahead of the planters a John Deere 9RX tillage tractor pulls a chisel plow, incorporating the fertilizer and preparing the ground. Enjoy!
