Malmö to Stockholm by night train — and I'm traveling in First Class with my own private sleeping room, including a shower and toilet. I travelled with an Interrail Pass, plus a reservation costing only £60!!! In this video, I will review the overnight SJ Nattåg (Night train) from Malmö Central to Stockholm Central, departing at 22:17 and arriving the following morning at 05:53. I take a detailed look at the First Class sleeping compartment, including the bed, pillows, storage, lighting, power, bathroom, shower and other facilities, before seeing what the overnight journey is like in practice. The sleeping car I travelled in was one of SJ's older coaches, built in 1991, and the train itself was a fascinating mix of sleeping cars, couchettes and seated coaches. I'll also look at the practical side of traveling overnight by rail, including comfort, facilities, privacy and whether the experience is worth choosing over a daytime journey.
