The Painted Wall | 画壁 by JudyFan & Capy Films

itle: The Painted Wall | 画壁 Description: A scholar stares too long at a mural of a woman scattering flowers — and finds himself pulled bodily into the world inside the painting. Another tale from Pu Songling's Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio (聊斋志异): a romance born from wanting, a fear that shatters the illusion, and an old monk's answer that explains everything and nothing at once — "illusion arises from the self." This is a story about how easily the mind can build a whole world out of wanting alone.
