Command & Conquer Generals - GLA Campaign - Mission 2. Aid Supplies Drop Zone

Mission 2 of the GLA campaign shows us just how dirty the GLA really are willing to play. Clearly they have no limit on how low they will stoop for their own gain. Our objective is to steal a total of $40,000 from the UN aid convoys. As the convoys cross through the map, we want to ambush and destroy them to collect their supplies. To start with the map is quite small with one major cross roads in the center. By occupying this town with plenty of tockets and rifles, we can ensure that no convoy gets through alive. I ended up spreading my troops as far and wide as I could, taking control of most of the little villages, in order to stop any civilians getting their sticky fingers on my money. Once you have $20,000 the map will grow a bit to the north, exposing more terrain to cover, including a small USA base. At this point, planes will start flying overhead which you can shoot down and collect lots of supplies. We get access to the Quad Cannon so we can shoot down the planes easily. Having lots of rocket troops spread arouhd on buildings also makes it easy to shoot down a lot of the planes without having to do much. Once $30,000 is collected, the map expands a little bit more to reveal more USA base to the north. Perhaps I should have pushed up and destroyed the USA completely, but before I knew it I had the $40,000 and that's victory.
