🥔 Carpathian Family Life | Potato Harvest & Stuffed Peppers on Fire

High in a Carpathian village by the river, Oksana and Vasyl live a simple rural life with their three children. 🌄❤️ Early in the morning, Oksana takes an old hand scythe and climbs high up the mountain with little Veronika to prepare their potato field for harvest. Step by step, she sharpens the scythe and cuts the tall weeds, while Veronika helps clear them away from the potato rows. 🌿 Back home, the children play while Oksana begins preparing a delicious traditional family meal. Over an open fire, she fries pork fat, minced meat and rice with spices to make a rich filling for homemade stuffed peppers. 🔥🫑 Vasyl prepares the peppers, Oksana fills them, and everything slowly cooks together in the pan. She also preserves fresh red tomatoes for the family to enjoy later. 🍅🫙 Then the whole family heads high into the mountains for the potato harvest. Grandpa arrives with his old tractor and carefully digs the potatoes row by row.
