MGF Race Car - Semi Building Another Engine (Part 1)

I've got another scrap yard engine to replace the one I had in the car as the oil cooler had gone. I started it up after a few weeks of sitting and it couldn't suck up any oil and started to rod knock..... my fault, I shouldn't have walked away from it after starting up. anyway, I tear down this engine to replace gaskets and ancillarys. not going into any internal components as this was a good quiet running engine, just suffered the same oil cooler failure that left the oil a tad milkey.....
