Swazii - Heavy tear

*Track 4 — "Heavy Tear"* The turn. After the warmth of "Love Looks Like You," "Heavy Tear" shifts into something heavier, more introspective — the EP's emotional low point, and its most vulnerable moment. It's also the second and final track where Grand Pahiano steps up to the mic alongside Swazii — his voice returning here, bookending "Stillness" as the only two moments on the EP where the vocals aren't hers alone. The title says it plainly: this is the track that sits with sadness instead of rushing past it. Still afrohouse and deep house at its core, but darker, slower to open up — the production leaves more space than usual, giving the heaviness room to land. Not a sad song for the sake of it — a necessary one, the part of healing that comes before the light.
