Madden 17 Sim: New England Patriots Vs Dallas Cowboys Game 1 (MLB Style Playoff Sim)

Part 16 of my Madden 17 MLB Style Playoff Sims! Tom Brady and the New England Patriots take on the reigning Super Bowl Series Champions: Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys. The winner of this best of 7 series will represent the new AFC in the Super Bowl Series. The New England Patriots, the 3 seed, are fresh off of sweeping the 2 seed Cleveland Browns in the Divisional Round. The Patriots had to slog through two unexpectedly hard-fought games before utterly demolishing the Browns in Game 3. Meanwhile, the Cowboys, the 1 seed, fended off a spirited challenge from the 4 seed Buffalo Bills in a rematch of their Divisional Round matchup last year, winning the series 3-1. While the Cowboys easily handled the Bills in the first two games of the series, they were upset in Game 3, forcing a Game 4 which the Cowboys narrowly escaped with the win. Both the Patriots and Cowboys have had high caliber offenses with clutch defenses, but only one team can be the AFC Champion. Will the Cowboys win the new AFC again and be given the chance to repeat as champions in the Super Bowl Series? Or will the highly touted New England Patriots dethrone the reigning champions to represent the AFC this year? The winner of this series will take on the winner of the new NFC Championship series between the San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins in the Super Bowl Series.
