Here is the final song of Devin Townsend show in Paris september 22nd 2026, for the Metamorphosis tour (4K - 60fps) 11 years ago, Paris was under one of its deadliest terrorist attack. It happened in one of our most beloved place and concert venue: The Bataclan during an ​⁠Eagle of Death Metal concert. Our whole generation, got badly injured in our heart, especially all the pop/rock/metal scene. But, us Parisian, French we are stubburned, we bend but we don’t break. among the music scene everybody knew someone who got murdered or injured, traumatized while attempting to a concert… friends, family, lovers… Then, the venue reopened, and one of the first show was Devin Townsend, doing his Trancendance European tour. Everybody came. And Devin said that he was asked if he was ok about playing in this venue, and he answered « of course we are ok! » and everybody cheered, and Devin, of course, made us do a «Wall of Hug » a « hug pit » that we all did. 11 years later here is Devin singing the last song of the show, one of his first masterpiece: LIFE, just an accoustic guitar and his out of this world vocals. And we all answered: « See you on the other side! » We were all on the other side with him cheering in that now world wide famous concert venue in the very center of youth life of Paris, the city of lights. Lights that Devin made them shine brighter than ever doing what we can do the best for our loved ones we lost 11 years ago in the exact same place: LIVE. Thanks to Devin, we couldn’t have done better by making them shine by being here singing LIFE! all together. This is one of those rare moments when music, art, beauty, love transcends everything even death and hatred because we are singing LIFE! and yes, thx Devin, Hevydevy we will, we are all seeing you, us, and them on the other side.
