EXTREMELY RARE VISIT | El Al Boeing 777-258(ER) 4X-ECB Arrival & Departure at London Luton | 1/11/26

For the first time in over half a decade, a Boeing 777 has landed at Luton! It was unfortunately extremely foggy on arrival meaning I could not see the landing, but I managed to get a good shot of it taxiing nearby. It had cleared for departure. Instead of the usual Boeing 737, today El Al flew in one of their Boeing 777-200(ER)'s for their morning rotation. Luton airport rarely gets widebody aircraft in general, yet passenger service widebody aircraft! You'd expect to see the Boeing 777 at Heathrow, but today it flew into Luton instead! This makes a huge difference from the frequent TUI 787s that only fly in for maintenance.
