The lyrics tell a story of feeling the need to not want to exist on what should be the happiest day of the year. The video was directed by Shutter Visual (Twin Tribes & Blood Club) and captures the desperation of the hopeless sentiment of the song through the lens of dramatic performance. Of sorrow celebrations Where’s the joy in this all? Where’s the light in the dark My hands hide my tears I feel so lost This first day of Fall Wistfully, wistfully Wistfully, wistfully Wistfully dreamed I dreamed to be forgot I wish to leave, without a trace I wish to leave, without a trace I wish to leave I wish to leave this space This first day of Fall It’s oh so pitiful how Now I yearn For warmness to surround No longer can I see Crest-fell from grace My self made purgatory Where’s the joy in this all? Where’s the light in the dark My hands hide my tears I feel so lost This first day of Fall Wistfully, wistfully Wistfully, wistfully Wistfully dreamed I dreamed to be forgot I wish to leave, without a trace I wish to leave, without a trace I wish to leave I wish to leave this space This first day of Fall Connect- Website: https://deceitsband.com/ Tiktok:   / deceits_band   Instagram:   / deceits_band   Twitter: https://x.com/Deceits_band Facebook:   / deceitsca   Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/7DwVO...
