Die einzige Existenzberechtigung für Handys in der Probe - oder doch nicht? Grade 3 Werkbeschreibung: Handys sind in unserer Zeit allgegenwärtig und oft sehr nützlich. Dass sie aber schnell vom Wesentlichen ablenken und, wie schon längst wissenschaftlich bewiesen, unsere Leistungsfähigkeit beeinträchtigen, ist gerade in Proben sehr hinderlich. Handys haben in Proben nichts verloren – außer bei diesem Stück. Hier ist es PART OF THE GAME – oder auch nicht? Der Komposition hat das Thema H-A-E-D-(D)is in Anlehnung auf H-A-eN-D-dys. Die div. Klangflächen stehen für die Spannung, die das Thema „Handys in der Probe“ aufwirft. Jeder Takt steht für eine Sekunde und soll hier als visuelles Metronom dienen. Der/Die Dirigent*in kann das Metrum geben, ist aber in erster Linie für die Unterstützung bei Einsätzen wichtig und für ein gemeinsames Ende. Description of the piece: Cell phones are ubiquitous in our time and often very useful. However, the fact that they quickly distract from what‘s important and, as has long been scientifically proven, impair our performance, is particularly disruptive in rehearsals. Cell phones have no place in rehearsals—except in this piece. Here, they‘re PART OF THE GAME—or are they? The composition‘s theme is H-A-E-D-(D)is, alluding to H-A-eN-D-dys. The various soundscapes represent the tension created by the theme „Cell Phones in Rehearsal.“ Each bar represents one second and serves as a visual metronome.
