The He 59 in Operation Fall Gelb

The Heinkel He 59 B seaplanes that took part in the landing operation in Rotterdam (on the Nieuwe Maas River) belonged to a specially formed temporary aviation unit called Staffel Schwilden (also known as Fliegerstaffel z.b.V. 108 or the Detached Transport Squadron).
