中学校技術の教材・金鎚を修理する　ハンマー　柄を取り換える　Restoration of Hammer from my junior high craft class

ずっと道具箱に入っていて、あらゆるものを叩きまくって壊れてしまった鉄鎚の修理です。記憶が正しければ、中学技術の木工道具セットの布巾着に入っていたものです。 黄金檀とホワイトオークを接ぎ合せたハンドルで復活させました。楔形状はオリジナルと違います。差し込み部がテーパーになっていて、これを合わせるのと円形に沿った肩を作るのに時間がかかりました。楔は黒檀です。 　金槌は両側で凸と凹になっていることが多いですが、今回はシンプルにフラットにして、えぐれた傷は深追いしませんでした。ヘッドがどんどん小さくなるからです。 If my memory is correct, this is from a cloth sack that was a tool set used for craft class at my junior high. I have used this hammer all my life, pounding all kinds of things, which ended up being useless. This time I restored it with my favorite wood bocote and white oak. Wedge system is different from original. I will see how this works in the future. In Japan a hammer often has convex and concave impact faces but I just made faces flat this time. I didn't bother to smooth all dents out on the belt sander because it would make the head smaller and smaller.
