Alpine Dairy Farming 1960s - 16mm Film Print Restored

Set in the alpine region on the German-Austrian border we follow dairy farming with a small dairy herd in the village of Fischen, sometime in the early 1960s. Farm owner Johann and herdsman Fritz ably produce 63 Gallons (about 240 Liters) of milk per day. Some of it goes into producing the famous cheese of the region. The 16mm film print was heavily faded and scratched and has been restored to a better standard. The original version had no music backing, music was added for this 2023 edit.
