Taste Hidden in Bentong: A Pahang Street Food Documentary

This documentary explores the local food culture of Bentong, Pahang, through the story of Yuan Kee Kopitiam and Dong Feng Bai Wei. The film begins with the busy morning of Yuan Kee Kopitiam, a family-run food business with more than forty years of history. Through food preparation, family labour, warm service and returning customers, the documentary shows how traditional taste is kept alive in everyday life. The journey then continues to Dong Feng Bai Wei, showing another side of Bentong’s local dining culture. From kopitiam food to shared restaurant dishes, this documentary captures not only the taste of Bentong, but also the people, memories and hard work behind it.
