10 Facts You Need to Know Before Week 5 Fantasy Football

Matthew Berry is back with his 10 Facts You Need to Know before Week 5 of the 2026 fantasy football season, brought to you by Xfinity Shield. Matthew digs into the usage that actually matters a month in: why Jacoby Brissett is the top streaming quarterback against a Lions defense allowing 304 passing yards a game, Aaron Rodgers as the fallback streamer against the Colts' 29th-ranked pass defense, and Kyren Williams out-touching Blake Corum 47 to 14 over the past two weeks. He also covers Aaron Jones averaging 23 touches with Jordan Mason on IR, Braelon Allen's 94% snap rate and 100% of the Jets' running back touches, what the Jaguars' league-best run defense means for Will Shipley, the George Pickens buy-low window after a 7% target share, Carnell Tate's third straight game with a 25%+ target share, Dalton Kincaid's usage trending the wrong way, and why Mike Gesicki is a great streaming tight end if Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins can't go. Whether you're setting your Week 5 lineup or working the waiver wire, these are the facts to know before kickoff.
