Taylors Mistake Beach . Christchurch New Zealand

Taylors Mistake Beach is a scenic surf beach and historic bach community located on the outskirts of Christchurch, about a 25-minute drive from the city centre. The beach is popular with swimmers and surfers with the Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving Club being established at the beach, by bach-holders and others, in 1916. During World War II, hills above the beach were fortified with two machine gun posts, to guard the Godley Head coastal defence battery. #christchurch ,#taylorsmistake
