The pond is full of water, so we decide to drain it and make the fish much easier to catch. As the water gets lower, we start seeing fish moving through the mud. There are some really big and healthy fish in this pond, and we're excited to see how many we can harvest. We work together and carefully collect the fish, hoping to bring home a large catch. After finishing the harvest, I'll turn the fresh fish into homemade smoked fish. I have my own simple way of preparing and seasoning the fish before smoking it, creating a delicious traditional food that can be enjoyed by the whole family and prepared for sale.
