🌿 SAVING MY SUMMER GARDEN PLANTS FOR WINTER! 🍂❄️ | Coleus, Begonia & Tradescantia Propagation Summer is over, but who says we have to say goodbye to all our beautiful garden plants? 💚 This October, I decided to bring a little piece of summer indoors by propagating some of my favourite outdoor plants! But here's the funny part… THIS IS NOT ABOUT SAVING MONEY! 😂 I bought 6 coleus plants for just $2 CAD and 6 begonias for another $2! Keeping them alive throughout the Canadian winter will probably cost me much more than buying new ones next spring. But when you're addicted to plants… you understand! 🌿😂 🌱 WHAT'S IN THIS VIDEO? ✂️ Propagating 2 varieties of Coleus, 2 varieties of Begonia, and 3 varieties of Tradescantia. 💧 Water propagation for Coleus and Begonia — the first tiny roots appeared after just 2 DAYS! 🪴 Soil propagation for Tradescantia — different varieties, different rooting speeds! 🐛 PEST CONTROL — why I avoid bringing outdoor garden soil into my indoor plant collection and why cuttings still need careful inspection. ♻️ Reusing old nursery trays instead of buying new ones. I have a huge shopping list of BIG GREEN CROCODILES to spend my money on! 🐊😂 🌿 ONE MONTH LATER — I'll show you the actual root development and how my little plants are doing! And yes, not everything went perfectly. One coleus didn't survive, and I planted so many Tradescantia cuttings that I had to divide them into TWO pots! 😂 I believe in sharing real plant experiences — including mistakes, failures, and successes. Not just perfect pictures!
