[Hook] Words like faith leader, preacher, father and pastor Those are like Boss, Big Daddy, Mr. CEO or Master Wasn't the first Bible interpreted by a monarch King James Organization, corporations and foundations all corrupted by gain They box up the Spirit and call it a church They profit from t [Verse] Ever since I was little I have believed in Jesus Christ But almost 95% of churchgoers I've met I've only pretended to be nice They go to church, put money in the plate and and pray all together But then when people leave the parking lot suddenly they're better Than everybody else or at least they think that they are Never knowing real struggle of poor people being broken in a beat up car Probably having both parents gather around the dinner table each night Never seen the cops show up at they house seeing mom and dad fight Most of the churchgoers are nose up folks and judgmental Thinking they're almost as perfect as Jesus and the rest are lower on some level Like the poor and the devil are almost walking hand in hand because being in the struggle is something that they can't seem to understand Most churches really pretend to care about the people at the bottom But what you don't get is the money in the plate goes to the church not the people with problems And the people that got them keep offering up as well Until they're old and they realize that they were destined to always struggle in hell I will never be the type to ever believe in organized religion Because to me the ones that killed Jesus are the Jews and the Christians If that's not your vision well go back and tell me what you read in the Bible And ask yourself who wrote it I mean it's clear in every chapter and title The book of Mark, John, Luke, Isaiah, and I can go on and on But do any of the books say written by Jesus? well prove me wrong Because to me don't you see that the book is all written by man So if you think about it it's all hearsay if you don't get that I'm sorry you don't understand! [Verse] I'm nearly 40, and to this day I hate organized religion Nearly everyone I've met going to church when I was young I no longer Christian I know I'm not, because I don't worship with hypocrites sorry Mr preacher I live next to a Jehovah church and trust me I've met their little leader I'm a painter and I went to donate some paintings he said he wasn't the receiver He said "sir you have to go through the church's online organization" I said are you for real does that mean that you can't really take my donation Tried to do something nice but he said that's right it's up to a higher decision I said okay well I was only trying to just be a good Christian All the other churches that I tried to donate to took them without any contradiction A little facetiously but he responded "yeah, we are Jehovah's witness" I said with an upset voice what did Jehovah's witness exactly He said well that is a really odd thing for you to ask me I said well let me ask you then why is this church so damn corrupt Isn't it's a corporate organization that's manipulated by humans to construct He didn't know how to answer, all he did was turn around and walk away, Well a few nice ladies came up and said they'd like a couple paintings if they may I said of course that's why I brought them only to donate to nice folks But see to me I just think that all these churches are worse than the lamest jokes [Hook] Words like faith leader, preacher, father and pastor Those are like Boss, Big Daddy, Mr. CEO or Master Wasn't the first Bible interpreted by a monarch King James Organization, corporations and foundations all corrupted by gain They box up the Spirit and call it a church They profit from pain and they leave us to search I’m keeping my faith and I’m keeping my vision I’m walking with Jesus and leaving the Christians! [Outro] No disrespect to the people who pray in the pews I’m just choosing a path that I know that I won’t lose It’s a direct connection, with no middle-man fee The spirit is wild, untamed and the spirit is free To me it should be between you and the Lord You shouldn't have to give to a church what you can't afford When the buildings maintenance is more than your mortgage I mean it's ridiculous to see next door a building so enormous The garden is gorgeous and all the land is paved over I'll never be Catholic, Christian, Morman or Jehovah
