7 Days in Deep Snow | My Hidden Shelter Saved Me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trapped for seven brutal days in the deep, snowbound backcountry as a relentless series of arctic fronts buries the wilderness under feet of heavy snowpack—driving temperatures far into sub-zero territory and unleashing howling gales and blinding whiteouts. Miles from civilization with all trails rendered invisible, surviving a full week of extreme winter isolation comes down to one critical sanctuary: a hand-built, hidden timber shelter concealed deep in the timber stand.
