Strange premade world

Yesterday, a friend sent me a link to a drive containing an "archived" version of minecraft. I think its 1.8.8-1? I found a weird premade world in it, but maybe its just my friends world he forgot to delete or smth... I noticed that the audio and video was a lil busted but i cant rlly do much about it :3 If anyone saw anything i missed or a suggestion of what i could do, ill gladly try it!!
