1940s weekend and homemade cornbeef hash

We went into town for the 1940s weekend, it was quite good and very busy, kids enjoyed it and loved seeing the cars some were 90 years old, they also enjoyed seeing everyone dressed up for the event so they got to see a glimpse of what people wore in the 40s. We had a homemade cornbeef hash, it was very delicious and the kids ate it all. I made a lovely mash topped with cheese as a side, which crisped up lovely in the oven. #cornbeefhash #1940sweekend #Pickering
