13 High Bay Industrial Lights Metal Recovery. (Copper and other non-ferrous metals) Bondi Scrapper

In this video I micro-scrap a two different high bay industrial warehouse lights and show how easy it is to recover the copper wire in the transformer. These transformers have a lot of burnt copper in them and just need a some decent hits with a hammer and chisel to recover the scrap metal. Welcome to the Bondi Scrapper Channel. I love walking the streets (especially with my 17yo Maltese Terrier, Elliot) and finding recyclable waste, taking it back to my small workshop (The Cage) and pulling it apart, saving it from landfill and feeding it back into the manufacturing stream via the scrap metal dealer. My favourite metals are brass, copper and aluminium. I also do a lot of steel which is an inevitable bi-product of scrapping. When I'm not scrapping, my other hobbies are growing vegetables, compost worms and Australian native stingless bees. I also like fixing cars and doing handyman work. Thanks for watching.
