Cerro Ena, Costa Rica Altura 3126 m / 10,256 ft Cerro Ena, at 3,126 meters above sea level, located in the Cordillera de Talamanca in the south of Costa Rica within La Amistad Conservation Area, an international park shared between Costa Rica and Panama. Recently, Cerro Ena became part of the Chirripó National Park. Due to the unique environment of flora and fauna that inhabits it, the park was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1989. The ascent to the Cerro Ena refuge is 14.5 km, presenting the opportunity to discover and explore one of the most beautiful and hidden peaks in the Cordillera de Talamanca. The community has cared for and preserved the natural state of Cerro Ena for many years, and now, as part of the Chirripó National Park and operated by ATURENA with the commitment to continue caring for it for future generations. @arohalindsay
