South Wales Vlog: Caerphilly Castle, Impressionist Masters & Coastal Hikes

Join us as we explore the history, stunning coastal paths, and medieval strongholds of South Wales! In this travel vlog, we start in Cardiff, exploring world-class art and prehistoric history at the National Museum Cardiff before taking a walk along the Wales Coast Path near Penarth. We dig into local history at the Lavernock WWII battery and explore the reconstructed 14th-century Cosmeston Medieval Village. Our route then takes us through the serene boardwalks of Cardiff Bay Wetlands Reserve and past the historic Pierhead Building, before heading north to tour the massive water defenses, leaning tower, and lavish Great Hall of Caerphilly Castle. Finally, we finish our journey along Whitmore Bay on Barry Island and inspect the 13th-century ruins of Barry Castle.
