Delaware and Hudson 4-6-6-4 "Challenger" by Rivarossi - with rare vintage footage!

A very special locomotive today - the behemoth of a steam engine, the "Challenger" type. As it happens, my Grandfather was born and grew up in America, in Upstate NY - while there, he developed a fascination with the railroad which went through town - the Delaware and Hudson. We even have some film he took of the railroad in his hometown, including a fantastic shot of a Challenger rushing by at speed - included at the opening and end of this video! The model is an amazing piece of personal and railroad history - so I hope you enjoy seeing it.
